How I start Couch Surfing.

How people start Couch Surfing...

In my case, I was in my home town Kanazawa and as usual Japanese I couldn't have vacation to trip abroad so I was just straight to interested in when my English teacher (also my friend) told about he hosting and spending fun time with travelers from all over the world.

If I can't go abroad, should bring abroad to my place!

So I start from hosting.
(Actually I'm hosting way more than surfing!)

And my first Couch Surfing experience was just awesome!

Very tough hitchhiking girls from Sweden who studying architecture and land scape designing in Tokyo were came from Tokyo by (of course) hitchhiking even they don't speak Japanese.
They said they stop a car and ask directly to Japanese driver! lol That's brave!!!
Hitchhiking in cold early spring in mainland, sleep at empty temple by themselves.
It was totally new for me a countryside young girl grow up in Japan.

I can't forget her smile with big socks has big hole on it.

To post this photo, after a long time I messaged with her in Copenhagen.
